About the Role

This position is part of a capable and collaborative environmental team that includes an Environmental Specialist, an Advisor and a Graduate. Reporting to the Environmental Superintendent, the Senior Environmental Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining compliance, supporting progressive rehabilitation, and engaging with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage monitoring and controls for key impacts such as noise, dust, blasting, and water,
  • Contribute to long term ecological programs and rehabilitation efforts (with sustainability goals focused on 2050 and beyond),

  • Engage regularly with site teams, contractors, neighbours, and regulators to ensure best practice,
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior environmental team members.

What You Bring

  • Experience in environmental roles within mining, construction, or infrastructure environments,
  • Strong understanding of land management, ecology, or environmental planning (preferred),
