We are seeking a qualified Open Cut Examiner (OCE) to oversee day-to-day mining operations at our thermal coal mine, ensuring safety standards are met, and providing leadership to the operational team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing company in the NSW region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations,
- Oversee mining operations, with a focus on maintaining safe and efficient practices,
- Provide guidance to operators on-site, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols,
- Identify and manage risks, ensuring that hazards are reported and addressed promptly,
- Complete all required documentation and reporting related to daily operations.
Requirements:
- Current Open Cut Examiner (OCE) certification in NSW,
- Previous experience in open cut coal mining, preferably in truck/excavator operations,
- Strong knowledge of mining safety regulations and risk management,
- Excellent communication and leadership skills,
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
